Just like Call of Duty, offline mode will only work if you are still connected to PSN (moronic, right?) and you have unplugged ethernet and/or disabled the wifiĮssentially, this “offline mode” will only work if you have lost your connection to PSN/Battle.Net. While Diablo does have an offline mode, it is actually completely useless.
Special Notes: Phew! These game developers are truly being a pain in the ass lately, with the substantial amount of online checks! Diablo was signficantly harder to crack than CoD.
